Life in quarantine

The coronavirus pandemic has obliged us to stay home in order to be safe.  While I was inside with my family I wanted to document this time period with photos. We are living an important moment in history so I wanted to photograph ordinary families in an extraordinary period.

I have decided to photograph families in front of their doors while I stay at least 6 feet away from them and wear a mask at all times. When I arrive at their doorstep, they are already prepared for the pictures. It takes about 10 minutes to create a unique photo. The idea is to represent what makes them happy during the quarantine. This includes various themes from different families.

I’m amazed by the creativity and happiness of the families. I want to believe that happiness starts here and now, you just need to open the door to feel it.
